Choose the mode around volume, delivery deadline, destination node and customs/final-delivery scope rather than comparing one headline freight number.
- Ocean FCL/LCL: usually the planning baseline for larger or cost-sensitive cargo. Confirm the actual origin port, destination port, transshipment pattern and destination charges.
- Air freight: useful when timing or cargo value justifies the premium. Confirm chargeable weight, airport, flight plan and destination pickup or delivery.
- Door-to-door / DAP / DDP review: assess the importer, product, tax responsibility and final postcode shipment by shipment. DDP is reviewed, not presented as a blanket guarantee.

What determines shipping cost from China to Latin America?
We do not publish a fixed rate detached from the live shipment. Total landed logistics cost normally changes with origin pickup, chargeable weight or CBM, mode/equipment, space and season, destination handling, customs scope and final delivery.

- Actual weight, CBM, chargeable weight and FCL/LCL/air mode choice
- Current capacity, sailing/flight schedule, seasonality and transshipment plan
- Destination terminal/airport handling, storage, inspection and customs-service scope

What to prepare for a quote
A precise request is easier to compare and execute. If some details are not ready, start on WhatsApp and add the packing list later.

Customs preparation should be based on the real product description, HS classification, commercial invoice, packing list, transport document, importer details and any product-specific destination requirements. Licensing, certification, valuation, duty and restricted-goods questions must be confirmed for the actual commodity with the destination importer or qualified customs professional.
